Features

Glass

Glass

The glass size capabilities refer to the thickness of the glass, which can range from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch. The standard options for glass include clear tempered, frosted tempered, and white laminate. Clear tempered glass is heat-treated to increase its durability and resistance to breakage. Frosted tempered glass has a translucent surface that provides privacy and reduces glare. White laminate glass comprises two layers bonded with a white plastic film that enhances its safety and aesthetic appeal.

Door Frame

The width of the top and bottom rails, as well as the end stiles, is 4-5/8 inches. The combined width of the intermediate rails is 4-1/4 inches. The width of the center stile is 2-7/8 inches. The maximum dimensions of the door frame are 18 feet in width and 14 feet in height.

 Hardware

Hardware

The hardware for the door frame is made of galvanized steel, which is coated with zinc to prevent rusting and corrosion. The hardware includes hinges, top and bottom fixtures, rollers, and an inside lock. The hinges are 14 gauge, while the top and bottom fixtures are 12 gauge. The rollers are made of nylon and have 10 ball bearings each, which allow them to glide smoothly along the tracks. The inside lock is a security feature that prevents the door from being opened from the outside. The hardware specifications may vary depending on the customer’s preference. For example, 11 gauge components and 3 inch steel rollers can be used if requested.

Warranty

Limited 2 year warranty against cracking, chipping and or fading of the anodized or powder coat finish; limited 1 year warranty on hardware and components.
